It was a fun but exhausting weekend with our back-to-back specialties on Saturday! I PROMISE, when I have all the OFFICIAL markings from our superintendent/secretary, I will post them all. I will wait to make sure they are accurate before I do. Thanks to those who posted some of the results and lots of photos.
Despite the "issues" at the ring, I think we are to be commended. Not one person pouted, screamed or behaved poorly. Every single person, including the judges, rolled with the punches, and enjoyed being with old and new friends IN PERSON after such a long time. That was the true gift of the day. I want to especially thank our incredibly steady Stewards Robin Lynn Marshall and Ellen Bruck (from California!) for making the show work as it needed to, and Trophy Co-Chairs Phyllis Perrelli, and Vanessa Cappello for doing all that advance work securing mementos of the day for the winners. I mean, who could forget it? Vanessa could not attend, so Phyllis held down the fort alone, with a smile (most of the time). Members Karen Gatchell, Susan DeSilver, Jim MacWalter, and others worked hard to encourage (strong arm?) people into entering, making for a pretty decent entry. Members who were not entered came to support us, even dear friend, current West Coast expatriate, Anita Lustenberger, graced us with her presence, bringing her grandson Louis with her, who unbidden, offered to help us clean up after the show. (I sure hope I haven't left anyone out)
All in all, I would say it was a success. THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING IT SO! See you ALL (plus some) in January. Stay tuned for details!!

Regarding the show on Saturday, it has been suggested that people who have not received their email with armband number and judging program should check their spam or junk mail. They have all been emailed. ... See MoreSee Less
I have not received an e-mail for the arm bands for one of my dogs, and on the website I am unable to see armband numbers for either dog.
This can not be correct as I received a receipt acknowledgment of my entry, so my email is correct, I do not think they went out, I have nothing in my junk/spam mail either
I was able to get my armband number from the website. Check under your dog's profile.
I got mine in an email at 7:19 tonight. I had also found it on the executive dog shows web site earlier.
I received the armband number email for 1 dog , and hers shows on the website, my other only shows up in entry confirmation
The ONLY entrance for all events will be off Canfield Ave.
For GPS use 48 Calf Pasture Beach Blvd, E. Norwalk, CT. 06855. The Norwalk Cove Marina. Show grounds are over left shoulder.
