From our Hunt Test Chair, Jim MacWalter: Hi All,
Firstly, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for you patience and understanding of how long this process takes and the many variables, (speed bumps), involved.
Secondly, I have good news about the proposed AKC Pointing Breed Hunt Test Seminar. The AKC has approved a date!!! The event date will be January 19th, 2019, so for those of you who expressed an interest, please mark your calendars accordingly.
We also have a venue. The event will be held at the Bass Pro in Foxboro, Massachusetts. This is a great venue as it allows all of us to peruse this awesome sporting goods store. Perhaps some well placed hints around the holidays that a gift card to Bass Pro would be great!!
Remember, this seminar IS NOT just for hunt test judges. These seminars impart valuable information to hunt test secretaries, committee members, line marshals and official gunners, so clubs, please pass the word to your hunt test staff.
Towards the end of this month, a full color flyer, suitable for framing, will be emailed to you all. TarTan's resident artist and past President, Laura Bedford will be creating the flyer for this event. Her artwork is always stunning and her efforts very appreciated!!
